Policy on Letters of Recommendation

Teaching:

Normally I run the research-oriented CYBR 624 (Cybersecurity Project) during fall and spring semesters. Additionally, I routinely support graduate independent study activities from CMSC and related disciplines, along with mentoring students from our Interdisciplinary Studies (INDS) program. At times I have taught and/or will continue to teach assorted CYBR 691 Special Topics, CMSC 304 (Ethics in IT), and CYBR 620 (Intro to Cybersecurity).

Research Supervision:

I am happy to discuss graduate research opportunities. If your research interests involve cybersecurity, cyberwarfare, information operations, privacy, influence/mis/disinformation, risk/security communication, technology policy, and/or something along these lines, I'm especially eager to chat with you! For academic matters, you must contact me at my UMBC email found in the UMBC Directory.

Student Financial Support:

At the moment, I do not have TA/RA/GA opportunities.
